This piece already has a story behind it and will be given to one of my sons Andrew as I placed his initials, the year of his birth & the year it was stitch which was in November. As for the story he decide to take a car trip to Los Angeles (we live in NC) last November with out any of his family knowing when I did find out he was already well on his way & little money in his pocket but a lot of faith. I was worried until he reached his destination and stitched this while I was thinking the worse as any mother would do. He is safe at home which we are thankful. He made his own memories of a cross country trip that will last a lifetime. I believe for the finish on this one I will make a pillow and use a pair of his old jeans as the backing. My hope is one day when he is much older & wiser he will look back and remember just how much I love him because we have had such a rocky relationship with his teenage years.
As for the coming month
February is close at hand & I have decide to spend the first couple of weeks with the Family Sampler by LHN with taking a few breaks in between with my Feb choices of ornaments & a few Valentine freebies I found.
